Dr. Heath Gallentine
Chiropractor/Owner; 22 Years of Clinical Experience
For over 22 years, Dr. Heath Gallentine has cared for families in Lexington with one guiding principle: precision matters.
Chiropractic is not a routine for him. It is a craft.
From the beginning of his career, Dr. Gallentine developed a deep respect for the power of skilled hands. He believes that effective chiropractic care requires more than technique — it requires focus, discernment, and the ability to feel subtle changes within the body. Over decades of hands-on practice, that skill has been refined thousands upon thousands of times.
Patients often describe his adjustments as specific, confident, and purposeful.
Dr. Gallentine primarily practices manual adjusting, utilizing detailed analysis and years of clinical experience to determine exactly where care is needed. Each visit is intentional. Each adjustment is individualized. No two patients are treated the same because no two spines are the same.
Experience That Brings Clarity
With more than two decades in practice, Dr. Gallentine has worked with a wide range of patients — from young athletes to grandparents, from acute injuries to long-standing structural stress patterns.
Experience brings something invaluable:
• The ability to recognize patterns quickly
• The confidence to adjust precisely
• The wisdom to know when to modify care
• And the steadiness that only comes from time and repetition
His approach is thorough but not rushed. Focused but not aggressive. Grounded in both clinical training and years of real-world results.
A Hands-On Approach
In a world that increasingly relies on machines and automation, Dr. Gallentine remains committed to hands-on chiropractic care. He believes there is irreplaceable value in direct contact, in palpation, in understanding the body through touch and training.
For him, chiropractic is not just something he does — it is something he has practiced, studied, and refined for over 22 years.
Care with Integrity
Dr. Gallentine is known for being straightforward, honest, and deeply committed to his patients’ well-being. He takes the time to explain findings clearly and makes recommendations based on what he believes will serve the patient best.
His goal is simple:
To help patients restore function, reduce stress on the body, and move through life with greater strength and stability.

Why He Became a Chiropractor
Dr. Heath Gallentine’s path into chiropractic began long before chiropractic school.
As a young boy, he regularly received chiropractic care. He remembers watching his chiropractor work — the focus, the precision, the way people would walk in hurting and leave standing taller. Even then, something clicked. He knew he wanted to spend his life helping people the same way.
That early exposure planted a seed that never left.
Dr. Gallentine went on to attend Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, graduating in 2003 from the institution known as the founding college of chiropractic. Shortly after, in 2005, he opened Lexington Family Chiropractic with a clear mission:
To help people regain comfort, restore function, and return to the activities they love — as efficiently and respectfully as possible.
From the beginning, his focus was never simply on “treating pain.” It was on understanding why it was there in the first place.
He has always believed that people deserve:
• To be listened to
• To be treated with dignity and kindness
• To have care that is thoughtful and specific
• And to leave feeling better than when they arrived
Over the past 22 years, that original calling has only deepened. What started as admiration for his childhood chiropractor has grown into a lifelong commitment to mastering his craft.
There is a quiet satisfaction in helping someone move without discomfort again. In seeing a parent pick up their child comfortably. In watching someone return to a sport they love. In knowing that careful, skilled hands made a difference.
For Dr. Gallentine, that never gets old.

Outside the Office
When he is not caring for patients, Dr. Gallentine enjoys spending time with his wife, their son and daughter, and their dogs. He is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys hunting and fishing — activities that reflect his appreciation for patience, discipline, and skill.
Those same qualities carry into his practice each day.
